TERMS & CONDITIONS 
Our below Agreement Form and T&C have been reviewed by legal experts. We don’t like writing Terms and Conditions… and we know you don’t like reading them either – but they are here for a reason and that’s to protect both you and CookingArtPassion Private Chef.

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & FLEXIBILITY
Booking your preferred date
All bookings are subject to the availability of chefs. When we will receive your enquiries from one of Google platform's such as TAKEACHEF, Poptop, Bark or yhungry, we will respond at our earliest convenience providing you with our proposal menu suitable to your request and budget. Our proposal will stay active for 14 days,  in that time you will have time to consider our proposal and accept or decline our offered menu and service. We will always try our best to give you your first choice of date, but cannot guarantee that it will always be possible. Please book as far in advance as possible to increase the chances of being able to book your first choice. A surcharge may be applicable on bank and public holidays. This will be discussed with you if you request such a date.
Booking your preferred date will only be secured once 20% deposit payment has been received and funds cleared. Deposit payment will be deducted from the outstanding amount. Outstanding balance is complete via bank transfer minimum 24h prior to the booking. Please be aware that payment of the deposit secure your booking, so sooner is paid, sooner your booking is safe and secure for that date
The Client understands that upon payment of deposit to secure the booking, time, ingredients and resources will be committed by me to deliver the event prior to the date itself. Cancellation by customers would also result in lost income and lost business opportunities that are difficult to precisely quantify. 
Canceling your booking, changing the time, date or changing the location
Once you have booked a date for CookingArtPassion - Private Chef service, if you need to re-schedule or cancel, we will always do our best to help. If you confirm your cancellation at least 14 days before the date booked, you will receive a full deposit refund, minus a 10% of the invoiced amount for our administration charge.
If you request a change of time, date or location at least 14 days before the date you originally booked, we will endeavour to meet your new requirements, subject to the availability of the chef. If your new, requested booking time is suitable to adapt into our schedule, we will reschedule your starting time. If the new requested time is not suitable to our schedule we have the right to cancel the booking with deposit refund, or reschedule the reservation for the next available date.
We regret that we cannot offer any deposit refund if you cancel less than 14 days in advance of the booked appointment. In some instances, we may be able to change the date (as long as the date, time, menu and number of people remain the same), subject to the availability of the chef, but this is not guaranteed. 
PLACING YOUR ORDER
When your booking is confirmed and 20% deposit payment is made, the next step is a pre-order of your food.  Please be aware that food choices need to be sent to CookingArtPassion private chef service minimum 14 day's prior to the booking. If there are any delays with confirmation of your pre-order, please contact us, we will do our best to accommodate your needs and requirements. Your food pre-order is to ensure the Chef gets everything you want to make your party special, and to give you all great memorable moments and experience to remember. Your pre-order is the priority to a great and enjoyable dining experience. Don't forget, if there is anything specific you would like to eat or experience,  please just ask. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and requirements.
Please choose your order carefully and ensure you have read, asked any relevant questions regarding taste, texture or ingredients and understood the description of the dishes carefully. While CookingArtPassion – Private Chef makes every effort to describe all dishes accurately not every single ingredient can be listed. You can request a full description of proposed ingredients in each dish prior to ordering, please do so by email. By confirming your order you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the description and concluding information concerning the dishes and accept responsibility for choosing the goods ordered. It is our customer's responsibility to provide us with any diet requirements and food allergies information. 
By confirming your order you acknowledge and accept that your food is made specifically for you from fresh ingredients and other ingredients and therefore cannot be reproduced to exact flavor, color, texture, taste or quantity and variations of these factors will occur in home cooked food. Food cannot be returned, swapped for alternative dishes or costs refunded.
CookingAryPassion – Private Chef cannot be responsible if any ingredients are unavailable due to circumstances beyond CookingArtPassion – Private Chef’s reasonable control. If an ingredient is unavailable CookingArtPassion – Private Chef reserves the right to substitute a comparable and suitable ingredient. 
CookingArtPassion– Private Chef prepares food for you a client consultation will be carried out to assess food preference, dietary requirements, allergies and kitchen equipment available. It is you, the client's responsibility to provide accurate, complete and updated information as required to provide food to your and your family’s tastes and requirements. CookingArtPassion – Private Chef does not accept any responsibility or makes any warranties for clients not disclosing any valid information.
Changing the number of people attending your dinner party
On booking, we will ask how many people will be attending the dinner party.
If you would like to reduce the number of guests attending your event, please notify us at least 7 days in advance. We regret that we are unable to offer any refund, as at this stage all the ingredients and item's required to your booking will be sourced.
If you would like to increase the number of guests attending your event, as long as you notify us more than 7 days in advance of your appointment, we will arrange for enough ingredients to cover this. There will be an additional charge per person which will be discussed with you and which must be paid in full at the time of the number increased. 
EXCLUSIONS
Drinks are not included in any CookingArtPassion – Private Chef services unless specified by CookingArtPassion– Private Chef. Occasionally we may be able to source drinks for you. Please contact us to discuss this prior to booking.
For larger group's CookingArtPassion will have a waiting staff; they will only serve food and are unable to serve your drinks. Drinks waiters can be arranged for an additional charge. If requested  we can help you with setting up the table and dining area, this needs to be discussed prior to the booking directly with Chef Marcus.
PAYMENT
All bookings must be secured with fully paid 20% deposit in advance.
This is usually done via direct bank transfer/ online banking; all details required for this are shown at the bottom of your invoice or can be provided directly via email. Full payment needs to be made at latest then 24h prior to the booking.
Tips/gratuities are not included in the cost of CookingArtPassion – Private Chef services and are left to your discretion; if you would like to show your appreciation of your Chef and their work please feel free to do so to them directly.
LIABILITY
For your safety, please inform us in advance of the booking if you have any dietary requirements, are pregnant, have diabetes, epilepsy or an allergy to something, or if you think there is something else that the chef should be aware of.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE CHEF
Before the chef’s arrival your kitchen should be clean and tidy with a clear work surface to a reasonable degree. Our chef's are trained on many different kitchen equipment so they will adapt to each kitchen environment. In some cases on arrival, you must show the chef how your kitchen equipment works, including turning on any electrical appliances. You should show the chef what equipment may be used for the dinner party, including pots, pans, electrical equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware (if necessary), removing it from high cupboards. Any faulty equipment should be removed from the kitchen prior to the dinner party.
We will not tolerate any violent, threatening behavior, physical aggression or verbal abuse to any of our staff or representatives. If this happens our team will vacate the property immediately and the booking will not continue. No refund will be issued and legal proceedings will be issued against you.
THE GREAT BRITISH WEATHER
If you choose an outdoor location for your dinner party, appropriate cooking facilities must be available. Please ensure that you have a suitable indoor venue available in the case of poor weather. We regret we are unable to reschedule events due to adverse weather.
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
You must have at least a minimum level of equipment in your kitchen. We will check what equipment you have on booking and discuss any potential issues.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of CookingArtPassion  – Private Chef for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.
By means of your order and/or registration to our mailing list, you are agreeing with these General Business Terms and Conditions. CookingArtPassion – Private Chef reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice.
CookingArtPassion – Personal Chef in its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, with or without cause or reason. CookingArtPassion – Private Chef reserves the right to add, delete or change fees or charges at any time upon notice as provided in this Contract.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.
COOKINGARTPASSION AGREEMENT FORM
Please click on the link below to 'Request access',  and to view our agreement form. We will then give you access to download and to complete the form using the electrical singing option. Once complete and signed, send the form back to the chef / owner for approval and signature. After signing the form, the final process to secure the date and service is a deposit payment of 20% of total cost. Payment needs to be made within 2 working days.
Like an agreement, this form is a formal arrangement between CookingArtPassion and our clients to do, or not do, something. It is security for the final reservation of our service provided to the client. Contracts are valid if they contain all the required elements of a contract, and once all the parties have accepted the terms by signing the form. 
This Client Agreement form sets out the basis on which we will conduct business with you and on your behalf. It is an important document and we would ask you to read it carefully, and if you are unsure of any of its terms please advise us. The Client Agreement will be effective immediately on acceptance of its terms by you and will remain in force until further notice.
For your reference, please open and fill out the agreement form document and save it in Word format.
