Dukkah



This days we all need to look after our health and immune system. The importance of adding good fats to our diet is enormous. So here is the great booster of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals include magnesium, vitamin E, B complex vitamins like folate and nacin, proteins, fiver and vegetable proteins.

100g sunflower seeds
150g walnuts or hazelnuts
2 tbsp almonds
1 tsp fennel seeds
2x cardamom seeds 
2 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp Black sesame seeds
1 tbsp onion seeds
1 tsp black cumin
1 tbsp celery salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon 
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder 

Lightly toast the cardamom, cumin, coriander, fennel, sesame, onion seeds and nuts in a dry pan just until they start to crackle and pop a littke at this stage they release their aroma and they are ready
Cool down and mix with the rest ot the together. 

TIP: Dukkah, delicious combination for mushrooms dishes, sprinkle on salads, hummus or as a dip with babaghanoush or muhamarra, crust for salmon, sprinkle on soups, with avocado on toasts, with your morning granola or yoghurt, sprinkle on sweet potato or cauliflower drizzle with dondelion honey or agave syrup.
